David Karp

David Karp is Vice President of Marketing and at Currensee. He runs marketing programs from awareness to analytics and supports the team with his technical and creative skills. David works closely with the Trade Leaders recruitment team on selection and promotion, and with the sales team on enablement and marketing automation.
Before joining Currensee, David worked at tech companies such as FirstGiving, a leading provider of online fundraising services, Ipswitch, a global network management software vendor, and Artisoft, a developer of computer telephony solutions. He ran limeduck, a small marketing consultancy, and taught entrepreneurship at Neighborhood Business Builders.
When not cooking up marketing programs for Currensee, David can be found cooking up organic produce and patronizing artisanal food trucks. He serves on the board of directors of the Photographic Resource Center at Boston University, is a founding member of Sprout Lenders, a micro-lending fund for sustainable food businesses in the Boston area, and he writes the blog limeduck.com because nobody else will.
David earned a BA from Wesleyan University and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
